MISO Cookies

 
 
Ingredients

・ 200g soft flour
・ 1 tsp baking powder
・ 80g unsalted butter
・ 60g brown sugar
・ 30g miso(Chino-no-sato white miso)
・ 1 egg
・ 2/3 cup chopped walnuts




 

Preparation

1.Combine the soft flour with the baking powder then sift.
2.Leave the butter to stand at room temperature and beat until whitens. Blend with the miso and the sugar then mix. Slowly add the lightly beaten egg into the mixture.
3.Blend (1)into (2) in two or three times and stir lightly.
4.Line a baking sheet with a piece of cooking sheet, drop the dough with a tea spoon on the sheet while leaving the same space between each portion. Bake at 180℃ in an oven for up to 17-20minutes. Allow the baked cookies to stand and cool on a rack.

※Drop the dough into even portions.
※Peanuts or almonds make a good alternative to walnuts.
